Note di degustazione
(bottled two weeks before my November visit; aged in 50% new oak for ten months): Bright yellow-gold. Scented, complex aromas of mirabelle, botanical herbs, ginger, crushed stone and spicy oak. Sappy, dry wine with lovely chewy depth to its soil-driven saline, spice and lemon flavors. Finishes with a youthful reserve and strong lingering spices.

Some absolutely top-quality oak here! Firm and complex with lots to chew on. Superior wine with superior ambitions, and a superior price alas. All well done though. (JR)
The expressive nose is more floral than that of the Folatières with notes of both white and yellow orchard fruit, wet stone and discreet spice and oak hints. There is slightly better verve and more evident minerality to the medium-bodied flavors that possess good balance and detail on the lingering finish. I like the complexity and note that this will be approachable in its youth. Tasted: Jun 15, 2014. Drink: 2018+
