(two-thirds vendange entier): A cherry fruit bomb on the nose, with hints of leather and smoke. Sweet and moderately dense, with a strong saline element and dusty tannins giving the finish a slightly dry quality.

Here there are no issues of reduction as the expressive nose offers up fresh, cool and elegant aromas of plum, black raspberry and dried floral nuances. There is a highly refined mouth feel to the mineral-driven and intense middle weight flavors that possess a lovely sense of vibrancy before terminating in a saline and extract-rich finish that displays mild austerity as well as fine length.
