Its aromas of dark, overripe fruits gives way to an intense, hugely fashioned character crammed with earth, beets, dark cherries, licorice, and touches of oak. This is a deep, medium-to-full-bodied, satin-textured, and well-structured wine. Projected maturity: 2004-2010.
