2002 Brunello di Montalcino

Decanted for over half an hour. Soaring from glass is beautiful nose of wild red cherry, tea leaf, earth, fresh cut grass. With 14 years of age, this retains bright refreshing acidity and firm backbone. Tannin is so finely grained that it makes you think of spring stream in the forest. Very long finish that it just lingers in the mouth. This wine shows how beautifully Brunello can age. Excellent!
