Note di degustazione
The 1985 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru is a vintage I have not tasted. I thought I would be blown away, but that was not to be. A deep straw in color (though this predates the period of premox). The nose offers beeswax, dried honey, wild peach, kernels of pistachio nuts and walnut. There is a slight oxidation on the palate, but it has a fine bead of acidity. Not complex, with sour lemon and orange rind on the finish; I would drink this soon. Tasted at Alino's dinner at La Trompette.
