Note di degustazione
Reticent aromas of smoke, nuts and gunflint. Concentrated, chewy and sweet, with vibrant flavors of ripe peach and wet stone. Light on its feet if a bit reduced and less expressive than the Demoiselles, with a hint of alcoholic warmth. Finishes with captivating soil tones and uncompromising dryness. . The mineral, grilled oak, talcum powder, and cream-scented 2003 Chevalier-Montrachet (white) is medium-bodied, satin-textured, and pure. Its pear and mineral-infused character also reveals notes of toasted oak that linger in its long, detailed finish. Projected maturity: now-2012. Musky aromas of pineapple, stone and mint; shows exotic hints of licorice and lichee but comes across as rather pure and perfumed. Fat, thick and silky; ripe and large-scaled but very dry. Finishes with very good length. Less fruity than the Truffiere, and not obviously stronger than that wine.
