Note di degustazione
Castiglione Falletto. Still has a note of blue in it. Bright crimson. Fully evolved nose and rather sweeter and richer than many at first and then acidity and tannin still bite on the finish. I'd drink the 2007 Vignolo Riserva before this. (JR)

Pale ruby with orange tinges. Wonderful concentration of sweet cherry fruit, graphite and orange peel. Has everything in spades: acidity, tannins and fine ripe fruit. Elegantly built. So very young and yet hard to resist. But should be allowed time to unfold itself. (WS)
The 2006 Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe literally bristles with tons of pure energy and class. Freshly cut flowers, violets, mint and plums all burst from the glass in this deeply expressive, powerful Barolo. Tar, licorice, smoke and incense all develop in the glass, adding further gravitas to this already dark, layered, hulking Riserva. Readers will have to be exceedingly patient here! (AG)
Castiglione Falletto. Very deep ruby with small orange rim. Feather-light mouthfeel with intense, sweet fruit. Firm stalky tannin to offset this intensity. (WS)
