Note di degustazione
Streamlined and refined and full of sap and juice. I'm tempted to say this si a bit simpler than in previous years but certainly of fine quality and with nice length and good, round tannin.

The 2011 Clerc-Milon is quite high-toned on the nose with black cherries, bilberry, black olive and light graphite scents. This gains more composure as it opens in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with dense tannins, quite a bold and assertive Pauillac with good grip, maintaining balance and precision, persistent on the finish. Fine. Tasted blind at the annual 10-Year-On tasting.
Tasted blind. Relatively pale ruby. Perfumed. Then very sweet fruit with a minerally, saline finish. Quite bright and still quite youthful. Though it’s a bit of a fast fader. (JR)
Tasted blind. Mid crimson. Sweet and round. Then an edge of gaminess. Very dry end. (JR)
