Note di degustazione
Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. Although there is noticeable oak on the nose of the Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Caillerets 2011 from Paul Pillot, it is in sync with the fruit and is very well defined. The palate is clean and fresh with precise acidity: plenty of fresh lime and green apples with touches of lemongrass coming through. Good weight and concentration, this is a vivacious Caillerets that should age well.

Tight and very fresh. Pretty convincing and very clean and fresh indeed. Pretty impressive. (JR)
An admirably pure, fresh and reserved nose of green apple, pear and white peach displays nuances of citrus zest. There is excellent size, weight and richness to the attractively mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that exude a lovely sense of energy on the very dry, balanced and focused finish. Tasted: Jun 11, 2013. Drink: 2018+
