Velvety-textured, this medium-bodied wine bursts on the palate with gorgeous purity, richness, and loads of apple, pear, liquid mineral, spice flavors. It is dense yet detailed, has outstanding fat, yet also displays exceptional grip. (from 64-year-old vines) Slightly reduced, stunted nose hints at nuts. Big, rich, chewy and dense, with the combination of pronounced minerality and lively acids giving the wine a penetrating quality. Solid, stony and very long on the aftertaste.
