Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2019-2035, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Nov 2019

Bright medium yellow. Knockout youthful nose combines lemon zest, chlorophyll, juniper berry and iodiney oyster-shell minerality. Stands out most today for its superb energy and tactile, almost dusty texture. Not exactly a silky style owing to its uncanny vivacity and pungent crushed-stone minerality but beautifully balanced Chablis with more development ahead of it. The lemon, juniper and mineral flavors convey a lovely subtle sweetness. Finishes classically dry, stony and long. (from a "normal crop" of 50 to 55 hectoliters per hectare, according to Dauvissat; 4.2 g/l acidity)

Punteggio 96/100 · Da bere 2016-2035, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Sep 2016

The 2002 Chablis Grand Cru les Clos was served blind by Vincent Dauvissat after I had tasted through his 2015s. All I can say is thank you. I was slightly out regarding the vintage, suggesting it might be a 2001. It has a deceptively rich and honeyed bouquet, with hints of pralines and even marzipan. There is beautiful delineation here, so wonderfully focused and lavish. The palate follows suits with a viscous honeyed entry, deeply layered with grilled almond and dried honey notes that are offset by a killer line of acidity. This is utterly sublime and my only regret is that I could not stay and watch it blossom in bottle. Well, I hope Vincent enjoyed it for his supper.

Lemon, stone, grapefruit, orange and floral notes open to a steely, fresh, acidic, bright, lemon, citrus and mineral filled, concentrated, youthful wine. 91 Points

Punteggio 94+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jul 2004

(bottled in February of 2004) Inscrutable nose hints at green apple, pineapple, spices and minerals. Large-scaled and pure but extremely difficult to taste today. Owing to its bracing acids and powerful minerality, this comes across as almost painful. But the flavors run deep, and the tight finishing minerality lingers long on the palate. Offers more volume than the Preuses but the Preuses shows greater precision and elegance at present.
