Latour made one of the lightest wines I have ever tasted from this property in this very good vintage. Not surprisingly, their second wine is also forward. Soft, with only medium body, and a surprisingly short, undistinguished finish, this smooth, lightweight Latour should be drunk over the next 5-6 years. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 4/91.
