Note di degustazione
Transparent ruby with a pale orange rim. This is tasting really well now – tarry tannins after orange-peel-flavoured fruit and a floral top note. Very pretty indeed. And it stood up well to being drunk with two dinners on successive nights. Very clean and fresh. A real, neat, delight. Nothing in excess. (JR)

Mushroom, earth, expressive cherry fruit and drying tannins. The palate is less developed than the nose, with compression and density. Lengthy and sophisticated finish. Slightly awkward – needs significant age. (RH)
Monforte d’Alba. Mid ruby with bright orange rim. Brooding and a little stalky on the nose. Seems a tiny bit reductive. Full, round strawberry and sweet-sour cherry fruit with lots of powdery tannins. Succulent, ripe fruit on the finish with the tannins adding a wonderful contrast, even if it ends a tiny bit dry. (WS)
Very pale ruby. Sweet and round. An absolute classic traditional Barolo. Real energy. (JR)
