Intensely coloured at the core, with a touch of ruby at the rim hinting at a bit of age. Meaty and savoury on the nose; dried wild strawberry and hedgerow fruit unfurl from the glass with aromas really benefitting from a bit of time. Firm acidity keeps it fresh before a big hit of mouth-filling and richly concentrated fruit. Unfurls nicely on the long finish, complex and satisfying.
