Note di degustazione
Reticent aromas of peach, nut oil and oak char. Fat, sweet and rich but with very good acidity giving cut to the dried fruit flavors. Offers a major mouthful of almost exotic stone fruits and finishes with excellent structure and length. Very different in style from the Chassagne premier crus, and more exotic than it appeared to be from barrel a year ago.

CS More savoury on the nose, then fragrant orangey citrus as it opens up. Rich, full, creamy weight with some spicy oak, but lovely balance of freshness, too. Firm and fresh and long. (JH)
Subdued, pure aromas of lime, clove and minerals, with a musky leesy nuance. Quite suave on entry, then nicely vibrant in the middle, with good energy to the flavors of lemon, lime and minerals. This is distinctly more taut, conveying an impression of firmer acidity. Finishes dense, pure and chewy. Five of the 12 barrels are new.
