Poured from Magnum. Concentrated ruby with orange tinges. Proper concentration of fruit on the nose and hardly any development! Great intensity of fruit on the palate with beautiful coating tannins. Perfect balance and so easy to enjoy. (WS)

Dark rusty red. Very rich and leafy and alluring. Intriguing and cerebral with really delightful delicacy. Indubitably Barolo with great balance and lift but no sweetness nor heaviness. Really dances on the palate. (JR)
La Morra. Concentrated ruby with orange rim. Quite earthy, perhaps even metallic? Seems oxidised. Two samples tasted, without improvement. (WS)
Very pale ruby. Strains of ceylon tea, chestnuts and leather on the nose. Wet earth. Then massively chewy and a world of spice. Plummy fruit, coffee and tea leaf notes, but a veritable wall of tannin! Definitely needs to be left alone for a long time but the character and complexity is undeniable. (TC)
