Potentially better than the Chevalier Montrachet, the unbottled Montrachet has an extremely expressive, layered nose of attractive fruit. Judicious use of oak has been employed to produce a delicately toasty, nutty and tropical fruit-laden wine that is full-bodied, copmlex and very long. Anticipated maturity 2004-2012.
