Subdued but complex nose hints at honeysuckle, nut oil and spices. Big, sweet and rich but quite closed, even a bit youthfully aggressive today. This is impressively tactile wine but reserved today and hiding more than it's showing. The alcohol here is under 14%. But then this is always lower than the Bienvenues and Batard, according to Fontaine.
