Note di degustazione
(I tasted a cuve that got 40% new oak, as the other components of this wine were only two-thirds of the way through their secondary fermentation) Pure aromas of yellow peach, spices and menthol, plus a slightly peppery, herbal quality. Then fat and supple in the mouth, with a strong element of grilled hazelnut. In a fairly thick style but has good energy. Incidentally, Remy pointed out that the 2008s, as a set, display "less ripe fruit aromas than the 2009s but also a lot of sucrosite

Fine and tight and introvert. Quite pure and lean and mineral with just a hint of wild flowers. A hint of bitter quinine on the finish. This should eventually be very pure and fine but one will have to wait. Our sample is from a tank with more new oak than the final blend will have. (JR)
Bright yellow. The nose suggests riper fruits than the Dos d'Ane: yellow peach, even orange. Then silky and ripe for this cuvee at this stage, conveying an impression of richness and lowish acidity. This is 14% alcohol-and more harmonious today than the Meursault.
