Pale yellow. The nose shows a slightly candied pineapple quality. At once exotic and penetrating, with classically dry stone and menthol flavors dominating. Youthfully shy wine with a subdued finish. This needs a couple years in the bottle to harmonize.

Not as expressive as the Chenevottes on the nose. Savoury and lip smacking but a bit hidden at the moment. Lots of bright acidity and some density but it needs time. (JR)
Aromas of crushed stone, mint and menthol. Sweet, dense and spicy, showing a high-altitude minerality but with primary fruit in the deep background today. Fairly rich but backward wine in a distinctly warm-season style.
