Discreet, complex aromas of stone and soft citrus fruits, flowers, vanilla and white truffle. Intensely flavored and nicely balanced, with bright, integrated acidity and penetrating minerality combining to give the wine terrific verve and grip. Finishes with noteworthy length.

(tasted at the end of its malolactic fermentation): Bright pale yellow. Disturbed malic nose. Tactile, saline and savory, with lovely acidity for the vintage. In an awkward stage to taste today but boasts lovely balance and subtle minerality. Finishes long and lively, with slowly mounting mineral character. Very promising.
This is also relatively restrained with its beautifully complex nose of citrus, dried yellow fruit, spice and herbal tea scents. There is a seductive texture to the very round and delicious medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by a moderately firm acid spine that results in a very dry but not austere finish that delivers fine length. It's interesting how a wine can at once be generous yet precise. Classy juice. Tasted: Jun 11, 2013. Drink: 2018+
