Note di degustazione
The 2002 Puligny-Montrachet En La Richarde is drinking brilliantly today, bursting from the glass with aromas of crisp white peach, ripe citrus fruits, toasted sesame and gunpowder, followed by a full-bodied, broad and muscular palate that's immensely concentrated and structured, with a dense core of fruit and a palate-staining finish. En La Richarde is often one of the larger wines in the d'Auvenay cellar, and that plays beautifully with the cool precision of this vintage.

(from a portion of the Folatieres slope that's not classified as premier cru) Full yellow color. Candied citrus peel and white flowers on the nose. Concentrated, vibrant and round; extremely elegant and floral in the mouth. This, too, shows superb verve and persistence on the back end, finishing with an explosion of flowers, minerals and lemon peel.
