(on its finings, and scheduled to be bottled in mid-June) Pale, bright medium yellow. Ripe peach, minerals, flowers and a whiff of honey on the nose, lifted by spicy and peppery nuances. Concentrated and densely packed, with lemon and lime fruit flavors framed and lifted by minerals and spices. This nicely juicy wine finishes with noteworthy aromatic lift. Showing a light touch in the context of this set. I may be underestimating this.
A textbook Pucelles nose of honeysuckle and citrus is trimmed in a discreet application of oak that does not continue over to the delicious, round and quite generous medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent depth on the focused and unusually powerful finish. There is an ample amount of underlying tension that adds relief to the otherwise densely concentrated dry exact. Allen Meadows, Burghound , jun. 2010
