Note di degustazione
The Bienvenue-Batard-Montrachet, revealing a rich, pear and mineral-infused nose, is an intense, powerful, deeply ripe, yet austere wine. Superbly-defined and softly-textured layers of stones, gravel, earth, and anise are found in this medium-to-full-bodied and highly-structured wine. Projected maturity: 2003-2010. Importer: Kobrand, Inc., New York, NY; (212) 490-9300.

Citric, mint and vanilla aromas. Fat and dense, with strong acidity and a firm stony underpinning. Very long, subtle and classy on the finish. Rather dominated by its structure today and hard to assess.
Informazioni sul produttore

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
