Note di degustazione
Highly aromatic nose offers white peach, pear, menthol and white pepper. Rich, supple and fairly full, conveying a dusty impression of extract. At once plump and shapely, finishing with very good length. No shortage of personality here.

The 2010 Chassagne-Montrachet is pointed and energetic in this vintage. There is a freshness to the Chassagne that makes it very appealing, especially for near-term drinking.
The 2010 Chassagne-Montrachet is pointed and energetic in this vintage. There is a freshness to the Chassagne that makes it very appealing, especially for near-term drinking. Anticipated maturity: 2012. Bruno Colin reported that in 2010 his yields were down 10-15%, but adds some of his oldest plots were hit even harder, and came in 25-30% lower than normal. Overall, this is a solid set of wines, with plenty of vintage and site-specific character. The Bourgogne, St. Aubin Le Charmois and Chassagne villages were bottled before the 2011 harvest, while the rest of the wines were bottled in March 2012. A hint of filter pad on the nose. But good weight and precision on the palate. Lots of ripe fruit though just a little loose. (JR)
