Punteggio 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2007
Musky citrus peel, honey, vanilla and flowers on the nose. Dense, solid and fresh, with the element of white flowers perking up the palate. Good flesh nicely framed by a firm edge of acidity. From 40-year-old vines located under Batard-Montrachet.

Punteggio 86-88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jul 2006
Subdued aroma of crystallized citrus peel, with a hint of honey. Juicy, even firm-edged, perhaps a bit hardened by the recent end of the malolactic fermentation. Boasts good balance and acid structure, but developing very slowly. A tad dry on the back. "It's not often that we get such a combination of ripeness and structure as in 2005," notes Boudot.
