This wine is a medium-weight, moderately-endowed effort with evolved color, sweet fruit on the attack, but some austerity and dryness in the compressed finish. Dark, blackish ruby-garnet. Ample, spicy, and important on the nose, with abundant, penetrating vanilla. Full and concentrated on the palate, with lovely sweetness from the plum fruit and oak. Elegant tannins contribute to the warmth and intensity on the lingering finish.
