Note di degustazione
Concentrated youthful ruby. Perfumed spice and Marasca cherry. Lifted and balsamic. Mouthwatering, elegant and big powerful grainy tannins buffered by ripe fruit. Ends just a little bit dry – perhaps it’s the oak tannins. Almost completely absorbed oak. (WS)

Closed, very tannic, light body, lots of flavour concentration but not as graceful and complex as the Cannubi. A little harsh. (RH)
Loganberry and cherry perfume – very pure and lifted. Then a mouthful of long, slow pleasure. There is real purity of fruit here, carefully and meticulously crafted to show the terroir and the grape to perfection. Delicate spice and tannins just like the sculpted muscular legs of a ballerina in gossamer tights. Dancing. (TC)
The 2006 Barolo Via Nuova reveals notable energy and drive in its dark red fruit, spices, menthol and sweet licorice. This long, pure Barolo reveals gorgeous length, beautifully balanced oak and superb overall balance. A mineral-laced finish rounds out the Via Nuova in grand style. For her 2006 Via Nuova Boschis used 70% new oak barrels with lower toast than in prior vintages and it shows in the wine's class. This is a fabulous effort from Chiara Boschis.
