The 2022 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna Cavarchione is packed with intense dark fruit, lavender, mocha and dried herbs. Even in this hot year, the 2022 retains plenty of energy and verve. It's a big, weighty wine, but all the elements are so well-balanced. The tannins need time to soften a bit. Deleafing here is minimal, as the site is very well exposed.
