Punteggio 89-91/100 · Da bere 2026-2029, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, Jul 2025

15% in older wood. 12 hl/ha. Glowing pale lemon colour. Light in bouquet but with a good even balance of fresh stony fruit across the palate, a light lemon touch, a fraction of iodine, gracefully nuanced. A delicious light to medium bodied Chablis. A fine finish.

The 2024 Chablis Village, which sees around 15% oak, has a lilting nose of cooked apple and lime. The palate is fresh on the entry with orange rind and a touch of spice. It's not complex, but this has decent length for a Chablis Village. The 2024 does what it is supposed to do with minimum fuss.

(Top Value)<br /> (from domaine fruit that yielded only 12 hl/ha in 2024). This is aromatically similar to the Petit Chablis though with more petrol influence. There is a bit more volume to the noticeably denser medium weight flavors that possess both an attractive texture and good power that carries over to the solidly long, complex and balanced bitter lemon-inflected finish. Good quality for its level and worth a look.
