1993 La Ricolma

Here in its debut vintage, the 1993 La Ricolma is fully mature, not oxidized, just fully mature. Dried cherry, mint, tobacco, licorice and dried flowers are all laced together in a very pretty wine that is barely hanging on to the last vestiges of life. Production was just one barrel. The 1993 has aged well, especially considering this was first leaf fruit from vines that were just three years old.
