1985 Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Volnay Taillepieds 1er Cru

Last Tasted 6/92 Fully mature, this wine offers the textbook strawberry, cherry fruit of a top Volnay, allied to a wonderfully elegant, medium-bodied mouth-feel. There is plenty of ripeness and length, but the wine avoids being too obvious or dramatic. The result is a voluptuous, silky, graceful-styled Volnay for drinking over the next 4-5 years.
