(60% carinena, 30% garnacha and 10% syrah) Inky ruby. High-pitched red and dark berry aromas are complemented by incense, cracked pepper and smoky minerals. A seductive floral note gains strength with air and carries onto the palate, joining sweet raspberry and mulberry flavors. The pepper and mineral notes repeat on the strikingly sweet, focused, persistent finish. This wine is made by Ester Nin, of Clos Erasmus fame.

The 2007 Triumvirat is an organically farmed blend of 90% Carinena with the balance Garnacha and Syrah. Garnet-colored, it exhibits a straightforward perfume of slate, underbrush, and blueberry. Elegant on the palate with sweet fruit and a forward personality, it will provide much enjoyment over the next six years.
