2013 Faust Cabernet Sauvignon The Lure

The third wine is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon The Lure. This comes exclusively from Atlas Peak, which is high-elevation, rugged, rocky terroir above the fog line in the Vaca Mountains of eastern Napa Valley. This wine offers more minerality as well as plenty of blackberry and cassis fruit, some cedar wood and spice. It is full-bodied, moderately tannic, and built for 15-20 years of cellaring. These are all impressive wines and seemingly the best I have yet seen from this project.
