2023 Meursault Les Perrieres

The 2023 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a strict bouquet, actually quite Puligny-like at first, fresh with Granny Smiths and wet pavement aromas and neatly integrated oak. The palate is well balanced with a slightly creamy-textured opening. Hints of chamomile develop, turning lightly spiced with a touch of walnut on the finish. This is an appealing Les Perrières, although a cooler season would have imparted more mineralité .
