Note di degustazione
Good bright red-ruby. Very ripe aromas of plum and mocha. Sweet and concentrated but kept tight and youthfully imploded by rather strong acidity. Plenty of ripe bitter cherry, plum and licorice flavor here but withdrawn today and in need of patience. Finishes with very broad tannins and good energy.

The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino flows with layers of intense dark fruit, cassis, licorice, leather and French oak. The wine finds its center nicely in the glass as the initial impression of exoticness fades a bit. Still, this remains a round, supple Brunello best enjoyed on the young side.

Deep ruby with first signs of orange. New-oak-dominated nose at first. Very gentle fruit for the structure. (WS)
