2013 Aloxe Corton Les Vercots

The 2013 Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru les Vercots has a more open and expressive nose at the moment compared to the Clos de Chapitre, with raspberry coulis, mint and forest floor scents emerging. The new oak here is nicely integrated. The palate is harmonious and the most detailed of the domaine’s three Aloxe-Corton’s: more precise with a crisp, linear finish that offers pleasant salinity. This should be worth seeking out once released next year.
