Note di degustazione
Earthy and meaty fruit with dried cranberries, savory plums, some orange peel and hints of caramel and musk. This is a medium-bodied Rosso, framed in nice, firm tannin and acidity. Well developed now. Drink up.

The 2014 Rosso di Montalcino represents the majority of the harvest in a year that was extremely challenging and plagued with rain in the days leading up to the harvest. A pleasant, fruit-driven Rosso, the 2014 is an attractive wine to drink now and over the next 2-3 years, while the fruit retains its brightness. Sweet spice and floral notes add an attractive upper register through to the supple finish. There is a limit to what Abbruzzese and his long-time winemaker Attilio Pagli could do in 2014, and this is it.
