Incorporating an appreciable percentage of whole bunches, the 2019 Pommard 1er Cru bursts with notes of peonies, plums, orange rind, sweet red berries and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, ample and velvety, it's supple and precise, with an ample core of perfumed, sapid fruit.

The 2019 Pommard 1er Cru is a blend of Les Chanlins and Les Combes. It has a well-defined bouquet of pure brambly red berry fruit, briar and sous-bois . The palate is medium-bodied with fine, quite supple tannins. Silky-smooth in texture, this feels very cohesive. A judicious touch of black pepper appears on the finish. Excellent.
