Pale yellow. Musky but fresh aroma dominated by pear. Spicier and drier than the Meursault en la Barre, with juicy pear and stone fruit flavors conveying very good definition but not yet showing the personality of the en la Barre. This firmly built midweight needs time.

The 2015 Meursault Les Tillets has a pretty bouquet with lifted scents of honeysuckle and jasmine, although it is not quite as detailed as the 2014. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, a pleasant salinity on the mouth and plenty of hazelnut towards the lively finish. I like the personality conveyed by this Meursault and it should age with style.
A little reduced and anyway some definite veginess on the nose. Racy and yet with good, appealing fruit too. No specious sweetness. Impressive. (JR)
Pale yellow. Reduced, spicy nose displays a buttery nuance. Very ripe on the attack, with soft citrus and spice flavors conveying a sappy, chewy impression of dry extract. Finishes rich and long, with a flavor of peach and a complicating leesy quality. Still a bit of sugar yet to be fermented. (The Saint-Aubin Sur Le Sentier du Clou was ripe and creamy but very reduced and youthfully bitter-edged.)
