The 2015 Crognolo is a delicious, entry-level wine from Sette Ponti. Bright and punchy, with plenty of red fruit, spice and floral character, Crognolo is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next few years.

Sangiovese and Merlot make up the 2015 Crognolo. The wine shows a dark appearance followed by long, flowing aromas of black fruit, spice and leather. This is a robust and nicely layered red blend that would stand up to meat roasts or lamb shanks. The wine is smooth and pleasing in texture. It drinks very nicely straight out of the gate.
