Note di degustazione
Domaine Paul Pernot’s village Puligny comes from sites that all touch Premier Cru vineyards – a pedigree that shines through. With aromas of white flowers and stone fruit, this is charming white Burgundy. The palate has gorgeous intensity – with a core of more peach richness, wonderful precision and length.

This too is notably floral in character with additional notes of citrus, apple and a discreet dollop of wood. The rich, supple and delicious flavors are not especially dense but the natural refinement of Puligny is present on the moderately long finale where the only reproach of interest is a hint of warmth.
Cedar and green fruits on the nose. Creamy texture and with that same slightly sour freshness as on the Bourgogne Côte d’Or . Salty freshness. It is slightly more intense than the Bourgogne but I’m not sure it is worth the much higher price. (JH)
