Note di degustazione
This is a pretty, classic, if ripe, style of Puligny-Montrachet with sunny pear, melon and yellow apple fruit flavours as opposed to tauter citric notes. The wine has a lovely creamy, rippling, layered texture, no doubt from some adept lees ageing. Despite the ripeness of the fruit, in keeping with the vintage, there is good refreshing acidity, and the fruit, acid and oak are all well integrated. This is already approachable now.

More complex and elegant aromas display petrol, white flower and apple hints. The fleshy, round and seductively textured flavors possess good vibrancy as well as better length on the balanced bitter lemon-inflected finale. This well-made effort should both drink well early but also reward 3 to 6 years of cellaring. (Heart - Outstanding)
Aromas of fresh pear, warm bread, beeswax and toasted nuts preface Pernot's 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village, a medium to full-bodied, layered and fleshy wine that's round and charming, reflecting the sunshine of the vintage.
