2014 Domaine François Mikulski Meursault 1er Cru Gouttes d'Or

The 2014 Meursault 1er Cru La Goutte d'Or has a perfumed bouquet with orange blossom and dried apricot scents, hints of almond and grilled walnut underneath. The palate is crisp and tensile on the entry, a keen thread of acidity here, the oak nicely integrated with a smooth, nutmeg-tinged finish that lingers in the mouth. This is a fine La Goutte d'Or from François Mikulski that deserves a year or two in bottle.
