The 2007 Chianti Classico Granaio offers up dark red fruit, spices, French oak, licorice and new leather. This big, exuberant Chianti shows terrific balance and juiciness in a masculine, hearty style. The Granaio is 100% Sangiovese aged predominantly in French oak, although 20% is aged in concrete, a vessel that is making a return throughout Italy.
