2023 Domaine Marc Morey & Fils Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers 1er Cru

The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Vergers 1er Cru has touches of walnut and smoke on the nose. It has a little more precision than the Chenevottes, with a Meursault-like style. The palate is well balanced with red apples, ginger and a touch of white pepper, a taut line of acidity and a long, composed finish. This is excellent.
