Note di degustazione
Citrus peel, flowers and a leesy nuance on the nose. Fatter and sweeter than the Chateniere, with nicely integrated acidity and firm minerality giving thrust to the ripe citrus flavors. I like the balance here.

A little bit more mineral than the Chatenière. Very close to Chevalier-Montrachet. Higher than Chatenière and his vineyards have deeper soil. Two vineyards of 65 years. 0.6 ha. These St-Aubins are his two biggest bottlings. Shows extremely well. On the nose it might be taken for a Leflaive... Sort of chalky finish. Extremely precise. (JR)
Musky aromas of peach and ginger; less exotic than the Chateniere. Invigorating on the palate, offering a firm edge to the flavors of orchard fruits and spices. Firm minerality contributes to the palate-saturating impression of this long, youthfully tight wine. A superb Saint-Aubin in the making.
