Note di degustazione
(I tasted a later mise , but there's still another tank of this wine yet to be bottled): Bright medium yellow, not as deep as the 2016. Musky herbs, oatmeal and spices on the nose. Fat, plush and sweet, with a dominant flavor of ripe apricot. A bit simple but more filled in than the young '16. In a rather exotic style, and a bit aggressive on the finish. Ready to drink but I'd wait a year for the wine to harmonize.

The 2015 Chablis has a crisp, refined bouquet with hints of chalk dust marrying with the light acacia honey and white flower scents. The palate is rounded on the entry with a touch of honey. It does not, perhaps, have quite the tension of the inchoate 2016 but it sports decent length. Probably one of Picq’s early drinkers.
Green apple, rather bitter acid giving a very tart finish. Light body. (RH)
(I tasted an assemblage of components from tank; Picq had already bottled a first batch for the U.S. market): Bright yellow. Fresh apricot and peach complicated by a note of gingery reduction. Fat and fairly large-scaled, with yellow fruit, orange and caraway seed flavors verging on exotic. Not flat but a bit aggressive, showing little in the way of minerality.
