The Le Cinciole 2016 Petresco is a special selection of Sangiovese from a single-vineyard site. This organic wine is elegantly contoured and nicely balanced, showing generous and rich fruit all the while. The bouquet opens to blackberry, wild cherry and plum. There are earthy notes on the close along with some evident oak spice, toast and campfire ash. The open-knit and richly textured elements of this wine would pair next to a grilled T-bone steak.

The 2016 Petresco, Le Cinciole's top Sangiovese, is fabulous. Rich black cherry, leather, spice, coffee and tobacco infuse the 2016 with real character. The 2016 is powerful and dense in the glass, with tremendous intensity and a real feeling of vertical thrust. There is so much to the 2016. Don't miss it.
