2014 Opolo Vineyards Zinfandel Mountain

Inky purple. Ripe black and blue fruits, licorice and a hint of smokiness on the deeply perfumed nose and in the mouth. Plush and creamy in texture, showing a touch of jamminess on the back half. Ample and appealingly sweet, delivering good closing thrust, soft tannins and lingering warmth. I'd have liked a bit more structure here.
